The Ultimate Book Tracker in Notion
You can watch a video of how I use this tracker here.
I've tried dozens of Notion book tracking templates and none of them worked for me - so I spent two years designing this one for myself and I think it's the best way to keep track of the books you're reading in the most easy, efficient and practical way.
I wanted a template that didn't make me perform useless tasks (I'd just stop using it) and that helped me collect the data that would teach me about myself as a reader, while also inspiring me to read more every day.
I use this to not only keep track of how much I read each month, but as a way to explore my reading trends, to keep track of recommendations, and to inspire me to keep reading!
Keep track of:
- What you're reading and how much you're reading (visualised using two different kinds of graphs)
- Who you are reading and what countries you tend to read books from
- The gender split across your reading habits
- Where you find your books, who recommends them to you, etc.
- Your favourite writers
- Your favourite genres and themes across all the books you read
Includes:
- Multiple relative databases to help you store your reads
- An easy-to-use 'currently reading' front page
- Charts that will automatically populate with fascinating data as you continue your reading journey
These screenshots examples of how I use the template - yours will be relatively blank (although you will have a list of themes, genres, and all nationalities input already!) until you start filling in books:
